The Cisco's
Networking Academy Program is about changing the
way people learn provides the opportunity for course participants
to gain internet
technology skills essential
in a global economy.
The program delivers
Web-based content, online assessment, student performance
tracking, hands-on-labs, instructor training and support,
and preparation for industry standard certifications. The
most popular of these is the industry recognised
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. CCNA
status denotes proficiency
in installing, configuring and operating simple routed LAN,
routed WAN, and switched LAN networks.
The Local Cisco Academy at UNSW is currently offering the
CCNA courses , the CCNA
Security course and is planning to deliver other
Cisco courses in the future.
